Job Description

Summary:
Individual will provide technical leadership for the installation and maintenance of the CCTV system, including cameras, cabling, recording, and monitors. Individual will also function as an observer and fulfill the requirements of that job description, running a workstation, monitoring the entrances and POS's including all monetary areas. Keeping reports and documentation. Must be available on a 24/7 basis to ensure continuous operation of the department in order to meet regulatory requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Full time position, and candidate must be available all shifts including graveyard, weekends and Holidays when needed. Working knowledge of all casino procedures & game protection for table games and slots machines. Working knowledge of all departmental procedures & regulatory requirements, cage & count room, F&B, IT Security, and facilities. One-year experience in CCTV system cabling, including CAT V, coaxial, and power. 4 years installing & troubleshooting CCTV camera equipment, including floor placement and backend configuration, in a casino environment. Avigilon certification preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Troubleshooting CCTV camera equipment, including floor placement and backend configuration in a casino environment, camera/support. Hardware and networking experience. Writes comprehensive reports and logs. Cooperates with other department managers on matters of mutual concern. Cooperates with local law enforcement in prevention and reporting of criminal activity within the gaming facility.
LICENSING REQUIREMENTS

III ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Maintains a surveillance workstation, observing, documenting, investigating, and reporting. Installing and troubleshooting camera issues. Handles daily routine duties and special projects as assigned. Working with Category Cable and terminations, and Fiber Optic. Assists in the installation and maintenance of CCTV equipment, as required. Ability to effectively work in a confined and low-light environment. Vision sufficient to accurately view activities displayed on small video monitors. Ability to stay alert at all times. Maintains an effective relationship with Tribal and State Gaming Agents. Must adhere to strict sanitary requirements. Ability to work any shift, overtime, holidays, and weekends. Performs other duties as requested.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Constantly talking or hearing, standing, walking, sitting, using hands to finger, handling or feeling objects, tools or controls. Constantly requires specific vision abilities of close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Occasionally reaching with hands and arms and sitting, climbing or balancing, stooping kneeling, crouching or crawling. Capability to sit/stand for extended periods of time. Adequate manual dexterity to effectively operate all surveillance equipment. Frequently working in confined or high places. Ability to lift upwards of 25-50 lbs.
WORKING CONDITIONS
May work in closed monitor room, on casino floor, or in designated equipment areas. Constantly in hot, cold, dry, noisy situations. Smoke filled or secondhand smoke. Occasionally in contact with offensive odors or other hazards, dirty.
