This position will be filled for a limited term and is expected to end in September 2028. The Network Administrator will maintain reliable and secure network infrastructure, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and install, configure, and maintain network systems and equipment. Key Responsibilities Monitor, maintain, and support UniSea's wired and wireless network infrastructure. Serve as a primary escalation point for network infrastructure issues. Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software. Troubleshoot and resolve network, hardware, and software issues. Maintain accurate network infrastructure documentation. Research and recommend improvements to network reliability, security, and bandwidth utilization. Support network design, maintenance, and ongoing infrastructure improvements. Maintain communication systems, including telephone and related equipment. Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs with vendors as needed. Assist employees with IT related issues as necessary. Participate in IT projects and other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education & Training:
Associate degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Services, or a related field required. CCNA certification or equivalent certification/work experience preferred. Experience & Skills Minimum of 3-5 years of related IT experience, with significant experience in network administration. Strong network troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to evaluate hardware and software issues and identify appropriate solutions. Strong organizational and project planning skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with other departments, vendors, and the IT team. Working Conditions Position is primarily based in Redmond, WA. Typical office working environment. Travel to Dutch Harbor, Alaska, may be required as needed.
Pay & Benefits Salary Range:
$80,985-$99,000 annually, DOE This is a full-time, non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime pay. Medical/Dental/Vision insurance available after eligibility period is satisfied. A variety of different voluntary coverages are offered - including AFLAC policies and additional life insurance for self and family members. Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Dependent Care Accounts are available after the eligibility period is satisfied. 401(k) plan with 5% employer match and addition 3% employer contribution - after eligibility period is satisfied.
