Job Description

Prairie Ridge Health is looking for a team member to join our IT department in the role of Systems Administrator. This position is a 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week). The schedule is 1st shift Monday-Friday, but flexible to accommodate updates on off hours. This position will share on call responsibilities.
POSITION SUMMARY
This role is responsible for the design, implementation, security, and ongoing operation of the organization's IT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. The Senior Systems Administrator ensures high availability, performance, and security of systems supporting clinical, business, and operational functions. This position plays a key role in modernizing IT services, including cloud adoption, cybersecurity maturity, automation, and endpoint management. The role partners with leadership to align technology strategy with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION
Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience 5+ years of systems administration experience (healthcare preferred) Experience with hybrid/cloud environments required Technical Skills Microsoft 365 / Azure / Entra ID Windows Server (modern versions), Active Directory, Group Policy Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls) Endpoint management (Intune, SCCM) Backup and disaster recovery platforms Security tools (Defender, SIEM, vulnerability scanners) Scripting (PowerShell preferred) Preferred Certifications Microsoft (Azure Administrator, Security, or M365) CompTIA Security+ / Network+ VMware or equivalent virtualization certifications
