Job Description
Overview We are on the lookout for a proactive and knowledgeable Technology Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be the go-to person for resolving technical issues, supporting end-users, and maintaining our IT infrastructure. Your expertise will help ensure seamless technology operations across the organization, enabling teams to work efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities Provide technical support to end-users by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, network, and operating system issues. Manage help desk systems and customer support tickets to track and resolve technical inquiries promptly. Support computer networking activities including LAN (Local Area Network), TCP/IP protocols, DNS (Domain Name System), VPN (Virtual Private Network), and firewall configurations. Assist with Active Directory management, user account setup, permissions, and GPO (Group Policy Object) administration. Troubleshoot hardware components such as computers, peripherals, and network equipment to identify faults and implement solutions. Support software troubleshooting efforts across Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems while ensuring proper computer management practices. Collaborate with team members on IT infrastructure projects involving analysis of network performance issues or security vulnerabilities. Experience Must be OTP Pro Certified to qualify Proven experience in IT support or desktop support roles with a strong understanding of computer hardware and software troubleshooting. Familiarity with help desk systems and customer support ticket management tools. Knowledge of computer networking concepts including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, and TCP protocols. Hands-on experience with Active Directory management and Group Policy configuration. Ability to troubleshoot operating systems such as Windows (including Windows support), macOS, and Linux environments effectively. Strong communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users while providing excellent customer service. Analysis skills to identify root causes of technical problems quickly and efficiently.
