A successful candidate will handle and resolve all software and hardware problems in a timely manner and will handle all updates to all software and devices. The candidate will be very knowledgeable on information technology systems and windows machines. He / she will have a solid technical background and will adhere to all federal compliance requirements (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act).Essential Functions:
- Provide information systems (IS) support and maintenance for all departments
- Provide end-user helpdesk support in a timely manner
- Maintain computer systems for proper operations
- Install, configure, and support software/hardware applications and peripheral equipment (IP Phones, scanners, telecommunication devices, electronic medical devices, network devices, etc.)
- Troubleshoot and resolves computer operating software/hardware problems
- Provide technical support as requested
- Update software for users as released by vendor and ensure that systems are operating at peak performance.
- Maintain and update inventory list of computers, telephones, and all electronic devices.
- Other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time within the same general discipline
- Monitors the company's defenses track unauthorized intrusions, and protect the company's IT systems with hardware and software solutions that reduce risk.
- Implement and monitor security measures and controls with the direction of the Director of Information Technology.
- Other duties as assigned. Competencies
