Job Description

IDR is seeking a Workstation Technician. The role is based at our client site in Jacksonville, FL, and involves working on-site to collaborate with support services, ensure proper hardware and software setup, and provide technical support and customer service. This position combines hands-on installation and repair work with opportunities for technical guidance and coordination with various IT infrastructure teams. Position Overview for the
Workstation Technician:
Collaborate with Workstation Support Services to receive, configure, schedule, and install hardware and software orders. Ensure equipment is labeled according to specifications and verify device specifications in line with purchase orders and standards. Work with service and business units to relocate equipment as needed. Provide on-site technical installation, repair support, and customer service to diverse clients. Maintain inventory levels and collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to manage parts and supplies. Requirements for the
Workstation Technician:
2 years of experience as a workstation technician supporting computers. Good organizational skills along with strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide excellent customer service as part of a team. Experience using ticket tracking software for documentation and operations. Ability to handle physical demands such as lifting 75 pounds, bending, kneeling, and working with arms above shoulder level, and distinguish colors. What's in it for you? Compensation:
