Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate's degree in Computer Science or comparable industry certifications
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in an operational environment with computing equipment, operating systems, and local area networks
- Ability to provide professional customer service in a high-stress environment
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate.
Performance Responsibilities:
1. Sets up and maintains networked and non-networked devices. 2. Maintains and installs software on networked and non-networked devices. 3. Coordinates and performs installation and transfer of networked and non-networked devices with site-based administration. 4. Assists in data collection of various types for planned projects, network maintenance, and other problem-solving needs. 5. Prepares, configures, supports, and monitors the computer-testing environment for various devices and for multiple electronic assessments. 6. Performs reimaging and reconfiguration of computer-testing equipment at the conclusion of electronic assessments. 7. Coordinates emergent technology needs with site-based testing coordinators and other district personnel. 8. Assists users in identifying, isolating and solving hardware and software problems through the helpdesk ticketing system. 9. Acts as liaison between school-based personnel, administration, and district staff, 10. 1Communicates site-based technology requests with supervisor based on technical expertise. 11. Accomplishes both long-term and emergent tasks based on sophisticated timelines and limited supervision. 12. Maintains effective working relationships with other employees. 13. Follows federal and state laws, as well as School Board Policies. 14. Performs other job-related functions as assigned.
