Boley Centers has an opportunity for a full-time I.T. Level 1 Support Technician to provide first-level I.T. technical support to Boley Centers staff across multiple locations, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues related to Microsoft Windows and Mac desktop systems, servers, networks, VOIP, and related technologies. Responsibilities include help desk triage, remote and onsite troubleshooting, documentation, and exceptional customer service.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide fast, friendly and professional technical support via phone, remote connection, email and onsite. Troubleshoot Microsoft Windows systems, software applications, mobile devices and network connectivity. Perform diagnostics and repairs ("bench work"); documenting all repairs in IT ticketing system. Supports Windows Server, Active Directory, and network protocols under supervision. Assist with VOIP systems and network hardware troubleshooting. Consult with staff on technology use and best practices. Document service requests and resolutions in the IT ticketing system and escalate issues promptly when needed. Maintain strong customer relationships and communication. Assist with the creation and maintenance of device (laptop/desktop/mobile) software images.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Working toward an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field preferred, or equivalent experience. Minimum two years' customer-oriented experience; experience with Microsoft Windows troubleshooting, basic networking, and desktop support preferred.
Mandatory Certifications:
A+, Network+, or Security+ (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).
Knowledge:
Knowledge of Windows 11/10/8/7, exposure to Windows Server, Active Directory and network fundamentals, understanding of help desk workflows. Valid Florida driver's license, personal vehicle and auto insurance. Must pass a Level 2 background check and drug screen.
