Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as an IT Technician Intern and immerse yourself in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment! This paid internship offers a unique opportunity to develop hands-on skills in IT support, network management, and hardware troubleshooting. You will assist in maintaining and optimizing our IT infrastructure, providing essential technical support to staff, and gaining valuable experience in a professional setting. Duties Provide technical support for hardware and software issues across various operating systems including Windows and Linux Assist with troubleshooting network problems such as LAN, VPN, DNS, TCP/IP, and Meraki configurations Support help desk systems by managing customer support tickets efficiently and professionally Help maintain Active Directory accounts, manage user permissions, and assist with GPO (Group Policy Object) configurations Support the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, mobile devices, and peripherals Participate in equipment troubleshooting to resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment Contribute to the management of IT infrastructure components like Windows Server environments and network switches Requirements Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications and computer management tools Familiarity with operating systems including Windows and Linux; knowledge of Windows support is a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users Demonstrated analysis skills for diagnosing hardware or software issues effectively Knowledge of network troubleshooting techniques involving
LAN, TCP/IP
protocols, DNS, VPNs, and TCP connections Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems related to hardware support and software issues efficiently Enthusiasm for learning new technologies such as Active Directory management, GPOs, Meraki networking devices, and IT infrastructure components This paid internship is designed to empower aspiring IT professionals by providing real-world experience while supporting our team's technological needs.
