Job Description
IT Technical Support & Troubleshooting

- 75k Depending on experience. Job is in Lawrence Kansas. Great environment! Apply Today! Key Responsibilities Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide remote and onsite technical support to clients.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and operating system issues.
- Respond to support requests in accordance with company service level agreements (SLAs).
- Escalate complex issues when appropriate while maintaining ownership of client communication.
- Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and client interactions accurately. Systems Administration
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows desktops, laptops, and servers.
- Manage Microsoft 365 environments, including user accounts, email, licensing, and security settings.
- Perform system updates, patch management, and routine maintenance.
- Monitor system health and proactively identify potential issues.
- Manage backup solutions and verify successful data recovery processes. Network & Infrastructure Support
- Support firewalls, switches, wireless networks, and internet connectivity.
- Assist with network installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting. Cybersecurity
- Manage endpoint protection, email security, MFA, and security awareness initiatives. Project Work
- Participate in client technology projects including: o Server deployments o Microsoft 365 migrations o Network upgrades o Cloud migrations o Hardware refreshes o New office buildouts and relocations
- Coordinate with project managers and senior engineers to ensure successful project completion. Client Service
- Build positive relationships with clients through professional communication and exceptional service.
- Educate clients on technology best practices and available solutions.
- Serve as a trusted technology resource and representative of company.
- Maintain a customer-first mindset in all interactions. Qualifications Required
- 2+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or managed services.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
- Experience troubleshooting desktop, server, and network issues.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred
- Experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
- Experience with: o Microsoft Azure o Microsoft 365 Administration o Active Directory o Entra ID (Azure AD) o Hyper-V or VMware o Firewalls and VLANs o Backup and Disaster Recovery platforms o RMM and PSA tools
- Industry certifications such as: o CompTIA A+ o Network+ o Security+ o Microsoft Certifications o Cisco Certifications Desired Skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
