REPORTS TO/TERM
GEO IT Director Full Time
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS
The IT Support Technician will be required to perform the following: Assist students, parents, and teachers with various technology issues over the phone or in person. Troubleshoot and perform repairs on Chromebooks and Windows based computers Manage user accounts Basic troubleshooting of hardware and software issues Keep tech rooms clean and organized Setup computers/printers in classrooms and offices Must be able to climb ladders and get under desks Use a ticketing system for accountability and customer service Provide professional, courteous customer service Maintain ongoing inventory Be cheerfully willing to work towards the better good of the school at times even when asked to assist with duties not in your regular work schedule Attend all scheduled staff meetings and attend designated school functions outside of school hours if asked Follow the GEO Foundation and school policies and procedures. Preform other duties, as deemed appropriate Dress professionally when on school grounds
Requirements:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or Equivalent Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Must have proven customer service experience Must have experience working with Windows computer systems Must have reliable transportation Ability to work outside normal hours or work week Critical thinking and ability to research issues
