Job Description
Overview Full-time, year-round position at Boyne Mountain Resort and associated Boyne properties in Northern Michigan. T he Information Technology Technician role provides comprehensive technical support across multiple resort locations, including desktop support, network systems, point-of-sale systems, surveillance infrastructure, and specialized resort technology. The IT Technician will focus on delivering exceptional customer service to resort team members while maintaining technology systems critical to daily operations. This position requires collaboration with resort departments including Food & Beverage, Ski Operations, Golf, Lodging, and corporate IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. Responsibilities Essential Job Functions (including but not limited to): Provide desktop PC support, mobile device support, and peripheral troubleshooting to team members across multiple resort properties Support and maintain resort enterprise systems including user account management, email administration, and access control Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair/replace desktop computers, point-of-sale terminals, printers, credit card processing systems, iPads, receipt printers, hand scanners, and related equipment Support Meraki wireless infrastructure including access point troubleshooting and basic configuration Assist with surveillance/CCTV system maintenance and troubleshooting Support digital signage systems and audio-visual equipment Perform seasonal rotation of POS hardware and related equipment configurations between ski and golf seasons Install and configure hardware and software as directed by IT management Maintain accurate inventory of computer equipment and consumable supplies Document technical solutions for end-user education and internal reference Collaborate with vendors and software support teams to resolve complex technical issues Assist with IT project implementation as directed by IT management Provide basic training and support to new computer users Additional responsibilities as assigned by IT management
