full-time Stellae International was founded in 1991, with the intention of providing the supply chain solutions the fashion industry desperately needed. Initially it began with the importation of goods for fashion houses looking to build a US market. Through innovative thinking, our founder was able to simplify the way fashion houses shipped their merchandise to the United States. From there, our Import/Export and Logistics platforms were born. It began in a small office with only 5 employees; from there Stellae continued to grow as more and more companies required our services. Since then we have expanded our infrastructure and watched as our clients expanded alongside us. Through the vast changes in technology we have walked side by side with the fashion and luxury goods industry supporting its back office management and now we not only contain large fashion houses among our client list, but fashion startups as well. As the industry grows, so do we, as professionals in the back end of the fashion industry, we grow to provide the solutions and support that the industry needs. Summary We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused IT Support person to join our team. You will provide first-line technical assistance to employees and users. The successful candidate will troubleshoot common hardware, software, network, and account-related issues, and resolve incidents within established service levels. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a customer-service mindset, and a willingness to learn and develop their technical skills. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support on user's software, telephone, printer and internal hardware. Upgrade, maintain and troubleshoot desktop hardware and software. Provide remote and on-site end-user technical support: Occasionally visiting satellite branches within the Long Island area. Set up new hire desks with computer equipment, email, shared drives, and phone login. Support teams with productivity applications (Microsoft Office 365 Suite/Teams, etc.) Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment: Label printer head cleaning, software update, camera relocation, audit user's accesses, equipment inventory.

Keep ticketing system neat:

create and update tickets and support documentation. Administer network security measures to prevent system interruptions or breaches Execute sensitive data backup and restoration when migrating user's end points. Network installation, monitoring, triage, troubleshooting and fixing Data Cabling, Access Control, CCTV, Computers, Printers, Phones, Tablets, Handheld Scanners, etc. Monitor active network and server infrastructure. Raise alarms and execute triage to create tickets for other IT sub-departments. Identify the root-cause for operational issues and process inefficiencies. Maintain the IT hardware and software inventory up to date: servers, workstations, scanners, printers, consumables, and any other equipment in the office or warehouse. Qualifications Recent graduates considered Microsoft Windows Chrome OS Strong desk side support abilities combined with a good customer service attitude. Active Directory knowledge. Microsoft Server and Microsoft Office 365 knowledge Knowledge of TCP/IP and data protocols: Ping, DNS, IPv4, Subnets, Switching. Solid understanding of networking VLAN, difference between Layer 2 and Layer 3.

Wireless technology understanding:

WIFI, Bluetooth, RFC, RFID. Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
