Technicians Interview Process:
One 30-minute video interview
Interview Timing:
Next Monday (all day)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00
PM Cutover Event:
One overnight shift (12:00 AM-8:00 AM) during network cutover weekend
Overtime:
Not expected; team will remain at approximately 40 hours/week Project Overview This project supports the network migration and cutover activities for the new Clarksville hospital. Resources will assist in moving clinical and IoT devices from the legacy network environment to the new network infrastructure.
Initial weeks will focus on:
Training and project onboarding Device identification and validation Data cable deployment and mapping Network documentation and preparation activities Key Responsibilities Assist with network cutover activities throughout the hospital Identify, inventory, and migrate clinical and IoT devices to the new network Support connectivity validation for medical devices and medication dispensing cabinets Perform physical network closet cutovers Patch cables from the legacy network to the Vanderbilt network infrastructure Validate device connectivity following migration Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues Work directly with hospital staff to resolve connectivity concerns Support overnight cutover activities during the final migration weekend
Required Skills:
3+ years of IT support, network support, or infrastructure experience Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills Ability to log into Cisco switches
Understanding of:
VLANs Switch port configurations IP addressing and connectivity Network device troubleshooting Experience supporting end users in a customer-facing environment Preferred CCNA certification CompTIA Network+ certification Technical Depth Needed This is not a deep network engineering role .
Candidates should be comfortable with:
Logging into Cisco switches Identifying VLAN assignments Verifying device connectivity Basic switch port configuration tasks Troubleshooting common network connectivity issues The role is heavily focused on hands-on deployment, device migration, network validation, and customer support rather than advanced network design or engineering.
Compensation:
$28•$30 per hour Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

$28.00•$30.00 per hour
