PM Position Summary:
The Engineering Technician I performs basic mechanical, electrical, and metrological tasks to support the set-up and operation of the Service Center. This entry-level role focuses on developing technical skills while assisting with routine service activities under the supervision of Service Leads and the Engineering Supervisor.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of service equipment. Support tracking and organization of tools, fixtures, and custom equipment. Assist with equipment set-up and validation activities as directed. Perform routine preventive maintenance and basic equipment checks. Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities per procedures and quality standards. Support assigned Service Engineering or Supervisor project tasks. Execute calibration and maintenance of test equipment following procedures. Follow standard operating procedures to support continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in special projects as assigned.
Knowledge & Skills:
Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, or metrology concepts preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Willingness to learn and follow technical instructions. Good organizational and teamwork skills. Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings with guidance.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma required. Associate degree in a technical field OR 1-3 years of relevant maintenance, service, or repair experience. Medical device experience is preferred but not required.
Work Environment:
Service repair hub environment. Requires strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. May require prolonged sitting or standing. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally. Travel less than 5%. ET_PB01

$30.00 - $34.00 per hour
