At Edward Jones, you'll join a mature and highly collaborative FinOps organization where your work directly impacts how technology investments are managed across the firm. As a Senior Digital Product Owner (FinOps), you'll help shape and mature the FinOps product, partnering with technology, engineering, product, and finance leaders, to drive financial accountability, cost transparency, and data-driven decision making across cloud, AI, and infrastructure services. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, solving complex financial and technology challenges, and influencing decisions that improve business and technology outcomes. What You'll Do Partner with stakeholders to define and prioritize the FinOps capability roadmap, ensuring continuous delivery of solutions that improve cost transparency, financial accountability, and technology investment decision-making. Lead and support FinOps capabilities across the Inform, Optimize, and Operate phases, including visibility, forecasting, optimization, governance, and cost accountability. Drive adoption of FinOps practices through stakeholder engagement, education, and cross-functional collaboration. Analyze cloud billing and usage data to identify trends, opportunities for optimization, and actionable recommendations. Develop executive reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics that support leadership decision-making. Track and communicate the business impact and value realization of FinOps initiatives. Manage and monitor cloud commitments, including reservations, savings plans, and other cost-saving initiatives. Facilitate cross-functional discussions, build consensus among stakeholders, and drive adoption of financial management best practices. Support governance activities and financial planning processes across cloud, AI, and infrastructure services. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in FinOps, technology finance, cloud cost management, business analysis, or a related field, including implementation of the FinOps Framework, including Inform, Optimize, and Operate or similar capabilities. Experience defining priorities, managing backlogs, gathering requirements, or leading delivery of business capabilities in an Agile, SAFE, or product-centric environment. Experience with cloud cost optimization, forecasting, cost allocation, and showback/chargeback practices. Experience using FinOps tools such as Cloudability, CloudHealth, or similar platforms. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial and consumption data into actionable insights and executive reporting. Experience with Power BI, Excel, or similar reporting and analytics tools. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and partner across technology, engineering, product, and finance teams. Preferred Qualifications FinOps Certified Practitioner (FOCP) or FinOps Certified Professional (FCP)Experience partnering with infrastructure product owners, service owners, or platform teams. Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms. Knowledge of Technology Business Management (TBM) and the Common Service Data Model (CSDM). Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week.
