Position Summary:
Experienced Product Owner with a strong Core Banking background. Lead product initiatives from strategy through delivery . Partner with business stakeholders and Agile teams to define product vision. Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on business needs. Drive successful delivery of banking solutions from concept to implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and manage the product roadmap for Core Banking initiatives. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and prioritize business requirements. Translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria. Maintain and prioritize the product backlog based on business value. Work closely with Engineering, QA, Architecture, and Business teams throughout the SDLC. Lead Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Reviews, and Retrospectives. Drive product delivery from concept through production release. Balance customer needs, business priorities, and technical feasibility when making product decisions. Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical implementation.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of recent experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager . Strong experience within Core Banking environments. Proven ownership of products throughout the complete SDLC. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Hands-on experience with Jira or similar Agile tools. Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skill. Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and managing product backlogs.
Core Banking Experience:
Experience with one or more of the following: Checking & Savings Accounts Consumer Deposits Certificates of Deposit (CDs) Retail Banking Products Consumer Lending (preferred but secondary) Payments (ACH, Wire, RTP, SWIFT, Zelle) Customer Information File (CIF) /
KYC Account Processing Debit/Credit Cards Treasury & Cash Management Technical Knowledge:
