DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Computer Engineer to support a federal program onsite in Port Hueneme, California. The selected candidate will work within Agile Scrum teams to support hardware engineering, software development, and system installation activities. This role is responsible for facilitating Agile processes, coordinating sprint planning and execution, maintaining project backlogs, and ensuring engineering teams successfully deliver project objectives. The ideal candidate has experience in software development, computer engineering, or computer networking, along with a strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies. Key Responsibilities Support hardware engineering and software development initiatives. Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Create, organize, and maintain product and sprint backlogs. Coordinate sprint execution to ensure project milestones are achieved. Document Agile Scrum processes and best practices. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams. Support installation and lifecycle engineering activities. Monitor project progress and identify process improvements. Promote Agile best practices across multiple Scrum teams. Incorporate lessons learned to improve team performance.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in Computer Science. Minimum 3 years of professional experience in computer engineering, software development, or computer networking. Experience working with Agile Scrum methodologies. Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning. Knowledge of hardware engineering and software development processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams. Experience supporting Navy programs preferred. Familiarity with Navy combat systems and lifecycle support preferred.
