Job Description The Scrum Master II provides Agile leadership, coaching, and mentorship to cross-functional teams by promoting Scrum, Kanban, and Agile best practices. This role helps teams improve collaboration, remove impediments, drive continuous improvement, and deliver value through effective Agile practices. Responsibilities Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement techniques. Support team self-organization, collaboration, transparency, and effective communication. Identify and remove blockers impacting team progress. Promote Agile best practices across teams and collaborate with other Agile leaders. Utilize Agile tools and metrics to improve workflow visibility and support data-informed decision-making. Mentor less experienced Scrum Masters and contribute to Agile learning initiatives. Qualifications 4+ years of experience working in Agile environments, including 2+ years as a Scrum Master. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong understanding of scaled Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and team agility practices. Experience using Jira, Miro, Confluence, and other Agile collaboration tools. Ability to leverage data-informed decision-making to improve team performance and delivery. Experience coaching teams, fostering self-organization, and driving continuous improvement. Experience supporting multiple Agile teams in a complex enterprise environment. Strong communication, facilitation, and leadership skills. Agile certification preferred (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or similar).
