Gaming / Hospitality (Confidential - Fusion Client) Fusion HCR is seeking a Scrum Master / Release Manager to support enterprise technology initiatives within a fast-paced gaming and hospitality environment. This role is responsible for driving Agile delivery while owning release planning and execution across multiple teams . The ideal candidate is hands-on, execution-focused, and capable of ensuring predictable, high-quality releases while facilitating Agile ceremonies. This is not a pure Agile coach role — this person must be comfortable owning delivery outcomes, coordinating releases, and ensuring projects move forward. Key Responsibilities Agile Delivery & Scrum Leadership Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming) Partner with Product Owners and engineering teams to ensure backlog readiness and sprint execution Identify and remove blockers to maintain delivery momentum Drive continuous improvement while maintaining a strong focus on delivery Release Management (Primary Focus) Own and manage end-to-end release planning and execution Coordinate cross-team dependencies to ensure smooth, on-time releases Maintain and manage release calendars, schedules, and readiness checkpoints Partner with QA, Dev, and Operations teams to ensure release quality and stability Support change management processes (CAB, release approvals, etc.) Project Coordination & Delivery Support Track timelines, milestones, and deliverables across initiatives Provide status updates and reporting to stakeholders and leadership Assist in risk identification, mitigation planning, and dependency tracking Support structured project management practices where needed Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Alignment Act as a liaison between business, engineering, QA, and operations teams Ensure clear communication across all stakeholders Drive accountability across teams to meet delivery commitments Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master and/or Release Manager Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies in a delivery-focused environment Proven experience managing software releases across multiple teams Experience coordinating dependencies in complex, cross-functional environments Strong communication and organizational skills Must be local to Las Vegas, NV and able to work onsite as needed Preferred Qualifications Experience with traditional Project Management (timelines, RAID logs, stakeholder reporting) PMP Certification (preferred, not required) Experience in casino, gaming, or hospitality environments Exposure to or experience supporting AI or emerging technology initiatives Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or MS Project What Success Looks Like Delivers predictable, on-time releases across multiple teams Balances Scrum facilitation with real ownership of delivery outcomes Maintains strong coordination across engineering, QA, and operations Provides clear visibility into release readiness and project status
