Job Description

We are seeking a Scrum Master for a contract position based in Malvern, Pennsylvania. This is a 6+ month engagement in a mature Agile environment where you will lead sprint ceremonies, optimize team flow metrics, and drive continuous process improvement across cross-functional engineering and product teams. Responsibilities Lead 2-week Scrum sprints, gap-week planning sessions, and standard Agile ceremonies in accordance with Scrum.org guidelines. Track and optimize core performance metrics, including cycle time, throughput, work-in-progress (WIP), and work aging. Maintain strict Jira hygiene across the hierarchy (Stories, Epics, Capabilities, Initiatives) to ensure high data integrity and visibility. Work toward organizational OKRs, including targeted cycle-time reductions for feature work and maintaining ideal WIP-to-throughput ratios. Partner closely with back-end, front-end, and product teams to remove technical blockers and refine application design workflows. Leverage AI tools and automation for workflow optimization, data analysis, and reporting. Qualifications Required Proven track record as a Scrum Master or Scrum Lead in mature Agile environments. Deep understanding of Scrum frameworks, flow metrics (cycle time, throughput, WIP), and continuous integration/delivery processes. Advanced expertise with Jira setup, metric extraction, and reporting. Exceptional communication, proactive problem-solving, and a team-first coaching mindset. Preferred Prior hands-on experience in software engineering, data, analytics, or architecture. Practical experience utilizing AI tools to streamline administrative tasks, analysis, and team operations.
