Agile Scrum Master#26-04393 Chandler, AZ 40% Remote Contract Starts 6/01/2026 Ends 5/26/2027 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a Scrum Master for a hybrid position (minimum 3 days per week onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. As a Scrum Master supporting Technology Infrastructure Priorities, you will enable one Agile team within a Scaled Agile (ART) environment to deliver technology oues across Database, Middleware, and Messaging platforms. This role is critical for PI Planning, w you will drive readiness and ensure post-PI execution stays aligned to objectives, risks, andmitments. You will be accountable for facilitating the Scrum operating rhythm, strengthening delivery predictability, managing dependencies and impediments, and ensuring alignment with Enterprise Change Management and other policy requirements.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate and continuously improve Scrum ceremonies: S Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, S Review/Demo, and Retrospectives Lead PI Planning preparation for the team, ensuring objectives, dependencies, risks, and capacity assumptions are ready Create stakeholder transparency bymunicating plans, progress, risks, and dependencies using Jira/Jira Align and concise updates Proactively manage delivery risk through dependency mapping, impediment removal, and escalation as needed Partner with Product Owner/Product Manager to maintain a healthy backlog with clear priorities, right-sized epics, and ready stories Leverage Copilot Chat (AI) and existing prompt libraries to help formulate deliverables and dpose them into epics and user stories Use Jira Software Plans (Advanced Roadmaps) to validate andmunicate the team's plan, including capacity, dependencies, and sequencing Use metrics to drive improvement by coaching the team on flow, predictability, and quality signals Coach for team health and performance, focusing on psychological safety, conflict navigation, and continuous improvement Represent the team in ART coordination (Scrum of Scrums / ART syncs) to surface and resolve dependencies early

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience 10+ years of delivery experience on Agile teams inplex enterprise environments Demonstrated mastery in Scrum facilitation and coaching Scaled Agile experience in an ART model, including PI Planning preparation and execution Strong facilitation skills across multiple organizational levels for alignment, decisioning, and conflict navigation Ability to influence, remove obstacles, and motivate people without direct authority Executive-readymunication with crisp written updates, risk framing, and escalation judgment Experience with backlog requirements rigor, including story splitting and acceptance criteria quality Hands-on Jira expertise, including strong JQL proficiency Hands-on proficiency with Jira Software Plans (Advanced Roadmaps) Comfort operating in governance/change-control environments and ensuringpliance Desired skills: Practical experience leveraging Copilot Chat (AI) to accelerate deliverable formulation and dposition Advanced coaching techniques (e.g., Liberating Structures) Strong working knowledge of Jira Align for planning, reporting, and dependency visibility Experience supporting production readiness and operational handoffs with Operations/SRE Demonstrated use of AI prompt patterns for story mapping and backlog refinement Pay range: $63.94 - $71.94 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
