At Jacobs, our Design Automation Enhancement Program team is transforming the way our technical staff solve challenges differently, delivering digital solutions and tools that drive efficiency and innovation across the organization. The Scrum Master plays a pivotal part in our Agile development process, ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality solutions supporting our Delivery Leads and Product Owners.
Responsibilities:
Control and lead the Agile methodologies within the development team, facilitating team events, setting up the Kanban Board, Control content Quality and building reports Promote and provide additional training about usage of a DevOps tool: ensuring adherence to Agile principles and onboard new developers Monitor progress of ongoing work and support sprint-planning meetings as a scrum master (a Facilitator) and other workshops/brainstorming sessions Help the team in problem-solving and identify areas for improvement Collaborate with the Product Owners and Delivery Leads to understand the product vision and align the development team with it helping to create clear and detailed user stories with acceptance criteria Assist in the management of the product backlog, including prioritization, refinement, and maintaining a clear and up-to-date backlog Here's what you'll need Min. 3 years of experience in delivering Agile principals and Scrum ceremonies Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with the team Ability to gather, analyze and document product requirements, and effectively communicate these to the team Willingness to continuously improve and adapt to changing needs and technologies Analytical and problem-solving skills to help the team resolve challenges and bottlenecks Understanding of DevOps tools and practices, the ability to manage them, and maintain standards Agile and Scrum certification (desirable) We offer: Rewarding employment
