This position is located in Dallas, Texas in a hybrid environment.Your future duties and responsibilities:
We are seeking a Scrum Master to help Agile teams deliver value efficiently and consistently by facilitating Scrum practices, removing impediments, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. This role is ideal for someone who can balance strong facilitation skills with a practical understanding of team dynamics, delivery, and Agile principles. The Scrum Master will partner closely with Product Owners, developers, and stakeholders to keep work moving, improve team effectiveness, and ensure Scrum practices are applied in a way that supports meaningful business outcomes.- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Help the team stay focused on delivering high-value work and meeting sprint goals.
- Identify and remove impediments and blockers that impact team productivity and delivery.
- Coach team members on Scrum principles, Agile practices, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with the Product Owner to support backlog readiness, prioritization, and effective sprint planning.
- Use Jira Software and/or Confluence to track work, document team processes, and provide visibility into delivery.
- Encourage strong collaboration, accountability, and communication across the team.
- Help identify opportunities to improve team processes, delivery predictability, and overall effectiveness.
- Support the team in using metrics and retrospective insights to drive practical improvements.
- Facilitate communication between the team, leadership, and key stakeholders when needed.
- Promote a healthy Agile environment where teams can raise issues, adapt quickly, and continuously improve. Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Hands-on experience with Jira Software or Confluence
- Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile principles
- Experience facilitating team ceremonies and Agile delivery processes
- Strong communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to identify and remove obstacles that impact team performance
- Experience coaching teams toward greater ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work across multiple stakeholders CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
