$78-82/hr. W2 Overview We are seeking a Temporary Software Engineer to support project-based engineering initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, maintain, and improve software systems while delivering well-defined project objectives and timelines. Responsibilities Develop and implement software features and enhancements aligned with project requirements. Write clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code following established engineering standards. Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality and reliability. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues throughout the development lifecycle. Collaborate with product, design, data, and security teams to deliver technical solutions. Create and maintain technical documentation for software implementations. Support operational excellence through monitoring, incident response, performance optimization, and system maintenance. Required Qualifications 3+ years of professional software engineering experience. Experience developing and evaluating machine learning models, particularly classification models. Experience building, deploying, or supporting machine learning systems in production environments. Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, Go, or similar. Experience building, testing, and maintaining production-quality software. Familiarity with software development best practices, including version control, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience working at large-scale technology companies. Background in machine learning infrastructure, model deployment, or production ML systems. Experience contributing to highly scalable software platforms and services.
