Company Introduction:

T&T Supermarkets is marking over 30 years as Canada's favorite Asian grocery store and recently announced multiple new store locations in the United States. Our growth into the US offers great opportunities within our first US flagship store, opened in 2024 in Bellevue, Washington in the Marketplace at Factoria, spanning 76,000 sq.ft. and standing as the largest Asian specialty supermarket in Washington state. We have established our regional office in the greater Los Angeles area to grow T&T Supermarket's vendor base with American food suppliers. The role Reporting to the IT Manager - Business Solution, the role is responsible for coding and improving our company ERP applications. The ideal candidate for this position is a hands-on professional with strong web-based products and platforms, and an ability to translate our business needs into client-friendly functions that will expand our website's influence in our industry. This position will be working alongside a team of other developers in creating , maintaining, and updating our ERP systems.

Major Responsibilities:

1. Build, and maintain ERP functions according to System Design Specification. 2. Write codes following TNT internal coding standard and rules, and following the best practice of the industry. 3. Confer with teams to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, develop content criteria, or , choose solutions. 4. Identify problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing, and correct the problems accordingly. 5. Develop or validate sufficient test procedure to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types. 6. Consult with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes. 7. Perform or direct revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements. 8. Prepare detailed workflow charts and diagrams that describe input, output, and logical operation, and convert them into a series of instructions coded in a computer language. 9. Perform systems analysis and programming tasks to maintain and control the use of computer systems software as a systems application developer. 10. Consult with and assist computer operators or system analysts to define and resolve problems in running computer programs. 11. Perform peer review of computer programs developed by other application developers. 12. Keep abreast of new programming technology and technique.

Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:

1. Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards. 2. The position requires constant communication with colleagues. 3. Possess 2 year or more hands on experience with programming languages tools, such as React, NoteJS, TypeScript, C#, PHP. 4. Hands on experience with API development with mySql , and MS SQL database. 5. Working experience with Magento and Wordpress is a plus. 6. Strong grasp of security principles and knowledge about Azure platform is a definite advantage. 7. A bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is preferred 8. Certification, such as Microsoft Certified Systems Engineering (MCSE), Project Management, or other designation relating to application system development job skills is an asset 9. Good presentation and communication skills; possess highly systematic & analytical problem-solving ability, highly concentrated and detail oriented 10. Service oriented with good interpersonal and customer relations skills 11. Demonstrate initiative, flexibility and responsiveness in completing tasks
