Qualifying Questions:

Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance? Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role? Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?

Summary:

Designs, develops, tests, and maintains software for satellite space mission systems throughout the end-to-end lifecycle. Develops, maintains, enhances, and optimizes software products and functionalities for systems integrations. Develops, documents, and maintains architecture, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software products. Participates in the agile software development lifecycle including planning, reviews, and supporting customer meetings. Debugs and resolves issues to ensure reliability and efficiency of software products. Performs software development, participates in code reviews, and adheres to guidance on software standards and design principles. Implements current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and changes in regulations relevant to software development. Develops, establishes, monitors, and improves software processes, tools, and key performance metrics. Executes and documents software research and development projects. Advises on software domains, system-specific issues, processes, and regulations.

Requirements:

Active Secret Security Clearance required to start. Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR). Bachelor's Degree. 5+ years of experience in software development. Proficiency in multiple programming languages including Java, C++, Python, and JavaScript. Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and system-level validation in complex software environments. 5+ years of experience developing complex software applications and algorithmic solutions. 5+ years of experience leading software development projects. Experience with modern programming and scripting languages such as C++, Java, JavaScript, Perl, Python, and Visual Basic. 1+ years of experience in a cloud computing environment including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. Knowledge of software architecture and design methodologies with ability to synthesize architectures and designs that meet requirements, characteristics, and constraints.
