Purpose:

Our Laser software team of developers are at the forefront of technology in the medical device industry. You will be making a vital contribution to the New Product Development pipeline and transforming patient care through innovation. Our Staff Software Engineer leads software/firmware development projects that provide creative, functional, cost effective, and validated product designs in a team-based environment. This is an opportunity for a key role in bringing exciting new products to market in support of the J&J Vision. This role is expected to contribute independently to the completion of project goals as well as work collaboratively with other cross-function teams.

You will:

• Lead embedded software architecture, design, and development for safety critical medical device application
• Develop code as part of larger software development projects. Evaluate available options and implement the best approaches
