Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sensor & Camera Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. Your expertise will drive the design and implementation of high-performance imaging solutions, ensuring seamless system operation and compliance with industry standards. Duties Execute hands-on testing for Camera Image Quality performance tests. Maintain suitable bench characterization testing code and test equipment for Camera IQ Characterization, using sound and robust IQ and optical design principles. Create or refine testing software in support of efficient, fast data acquisition and automated visualization. Analyze data and report findings using statistical data analysis methods. Write detailed technical reports on characterization results, and recommendations for needed actions. Conceive of and develop new test setups and methodologies to expand validation and characterization capabilities. Design, implement, and maintain high-performance C++ device drivers for automotive CMOS image sensors. Develop and optimize driver software for multi-gigabit automotive SerDes links. Implement and debug communication across MIPI CSI-2, I2C, and Ethernet. Drive camera module bring-up on bench setups and frame grabbers. Build diagnostic tools, bus transaction logging utilities, Built-In Self-Test (BIST) routines, and fault-recovery mechanisms compliant with automotive functional safety (ISO 26262). Qualifications Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong communication abilities to collaborate across engineering disciplines. Solid knowledge of basic image sensor operation, Image Quality and electronics fundamentals and prior application in a lab setting. Hands-on experience working in a lab environment, creating, maintaining and operating sensitive measurement setups for quality data acquisition. Knowledge of basic electrical circuit principles and design, CMOS Image Sensor structure and operation, including basic analog circuits and CMOS image sensor architecture. Understanding of imaging/camera system level design and considerations. Experience with imaging related lab hardware: light sources, lux meters, test charts, opto-mechanical components, optical filters (bandpass, IR cut-off), lenses. Ability to understand, modify and write software to automate data acquisition and analysis, using Python, MATLAB, Excel (or other COM-capable languages). 2+ years of embedded software development experience in Modern C+ (C++14/17/20) and C in Linux or RTOS environments. Hands-on experience developing low-level device drivers for camera image sensors, video capture hardware, or high-speed peripherals.
Statistical data analysis:

Direct experience with automotive multi-gigabit SerDes architectures (e.g., GMSL2/GMSL3) Experience with Automotive Ethernet (100BASE-T1 / 1000BASE-T1) and high-throughput network streaming pipelines.
