AMPS messaging, Kafka or similar messaging platforms, AWS or other cloud platforms, Python, and AI-assisted development tool Main responsibilities: Design, build, enhance, and support business-critical backend applications that support investment and operational workflows Wealth management industry background would be nice Primary Responsibilities Partner with project managers, technical leads, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and develop applications that meet business and technical specifications. Support and maintain existing systems, including monitoring performance and resolving operational issues. Diagnose and troubleshoot data- and software-related issues, implementing timely and effective solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy new features and enhancements. Create, update, and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge-sharing resources. Position Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, plus 8+ years of Java development experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience within the financial services industry is preferred. Strong experience with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Oracle Database, PostgreSQL, SQL, Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, Linux, and microservices architecture. Advanced SQL and database query expertise is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
