We are seeking a Senior C++ Engineer to join a high-impact engineering initiative supporting core compiler and machine learning infrastructure for a global technology leader and pioneer in cloud, search, and AI platform infrastructure. In this role, you will play a pivotal part within a dedicated Grid Dynamics squad, driving the open-source OpenXLA pull request (PR) workflow and maintaining system stability. As a Senior Engineer on the team, you will combine strong hands-on C++ expertise - managing community contributions, troubleshooting complex GPU/CPU build and test failures, implementing targeted fixes, and collaborating with dedicated FTE rotation teams on high-level architectural escalations. Essential functions Manage, coordinate, and streamline the OpenXLA pull request (PR) workflow within a large-scale, high-concurrency open-source C++ repository. Diagnose, debug, and implement code fixes for failed OpenXLA PRs and internal automated test suites where resolutions are well-understood or non-complex. Qualifications 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience with a strong foundation in modern C++ (C++14/17/20). Proven experience working with large-scale, complex C++ open-source codebases and managing PR workflows. Strong expertise in C++ build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and debugging build/test failures in Linux environments. Hands-on professional background within semiconductor, chipmaker, hardware design, or enterprise hardware organizations (e.g., NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, Qualcomm, ARM, Dell, Linaro, Huawei, Linux Foundation, MS, or similar). Strong analytical and triage skills—ability to independently isolate root causes in software failures and determine escalation paths. High degree of autonomy, proactive follow-up habits, and strong technical communication skills in English.
