Job Description
We are modernising its Parts and Accessories e-commerce ecosystem by consolidating multiple legacy platforms into a single, scalable, best-of-breed solution. The project focuses on a modern technology stack, flexible site management, improved operational efficiency, and future-ready scalability, enabling seamless migration of additional e-commerce experiences. Strong emphasis will be placed on quality assurance, observability, monitoring, and lifecycle management to ensure a reliable, maintainable, and adaptable platform that can evolve with changing business needs. Essential functions Own the frontend architecture and technical vision for a scalable e-commerce platform using Next.js, React.js, and TypeScript. Design and implement Micro Frontend and Nx monorepo architectures supporting modular, independent development and deployment. Define architecture standards, design patterns, coding guidelines, reusable components, and engineering best practices. Drive SSR/SSG, state management, REST/GraphQL integration, security, performance, scalability, accessibility, and responsive design. Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, observability, monitoring, SRE dashboards, and alerting. Establish quality engineering practices including code reviews, automated testing, performance validation, and release governance. Evaluate and adopt AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude, while driving technology evaluations, POCs, and continuous modernization. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, stakeholder collaboration, and risk management, ensuring the architecture supports future e-commerce integrations and business growth.
