This role is ideal for a detail-driven software engineer who enjoys solving complex systems challenges, working close to the platform, and contributing to reliable mainframe print processes. This position offers the opportunity to join a highly skilled technical team in a collaborative R&D environment with supportive leadership, strong peer knowledge sharing, and meaningful work tied to system performance and product quality. You will have the chance to contribute to design discussions, improve existing workflows, troubleshoot root-cause issues, and build solutions that support long-term stability and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Develop, test, debug, and support print-related software products on mainframe platforms. Investigate technical issues, identify root causes, and implement guided fixes and enhancements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on systems design, integration, code reviews, and technical problem solving. Maintain accurate documentation for systems, processes, code changes, and architectural decisions. Identify opportunities to create tools, automate tasks, and improve team efficiency. Support ongoing product quality, reliability, and maintainability within a mainframe R&D environment.
