Job Description Gauge Engineering Services is seeking an experienced software engineer to maintain and develop software for command and control of satellites. Program Overview Gauge Engineering Services is supporting a U.S. Space Force Space Systems Command program tied to medium Earth orbit (MEO) missile tracking and warning architectures.

TS/SCI Key Responsibilities Leads the design, development, integration, testing, and delivery of large-scale ground software and mission control systems using Neptune. Primarily back end development for use in tracking MEO Satellites. Interacts with the team to support testing on components, subsystems, and spacecraft in test configurations Integrates software applications into Government-furnished software and infrastructure Execute integrated system test events bridging products and Government-furnished systems Implements specific mission data processing applications into existing systems to support payloads and end data users Supports software testing and installation in classified environments Guides junior developers through development tasks, troubleshooting exercises Plans and executes validation/verification testing Contributes to ground software or tool development by completing larger feature requests, taking ownership of larger software modules, analysis packages, and workflows , Required Skills U.S. Citizen w/ active TS/SCI Security Clearance Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field 10+ years of software engineering experience with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the areas listed below: Experience with Orbital Dynamics Experience developing ground software or C2 based software Experience in Telemetry , Desired Skills Experience w/ Neptune, which is a multi-mission command and control (C2) software package developed and managed by the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) for satellite operations and ground station antenna management Experience with Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) , Additional Details Why Join Us? Salary Range:
