- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Clinical Informatics, or related field required.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education, certification, and progressive experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Relevant healthcare technology, application, informatics, analytics, cloud, AI, automation, or architecture certifications preferred.
- Epic certification in seven or more supported applications preferred, as applicable to assigned areas.
- Continuous improvement certification preferred.
- Change Management certification preferred.
- Minimum seven years of progressive experience supporting information technology, healthcare applications, electronic health records, systems implementation, workflow redesign, analytics, automation, quality improvement, or solution architecture.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex technical analysis, optimization, standards development, system improvement, or cross-functional problem-solving efforts.
- Experience translating operational needs, data, and technical findings into actionable improvement plans.
- Experience mentoring analysts or technical staff through coaching, peer review, knowledge sharing, and skill development preferred. Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior technical lead for complex technology initiatives, solution architecture, system integrations, workflow optimization, and enterprise-wide technology improvements.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts that enhance system performance, user experience, operational efficiency, reliability, standardization, and service outcomes.
- Partner with clinical, operational, and IT leaders to identify, prioritize, and implement technology solutions that support organizational goals.
- Drive optimization of Epic and other enterprise applications through workflow redesign, performance analysis, adoption monitoring, and enhancement planning.
- Leverage analytics, reporting, and performance metrics to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Lead evaluation and implementation of automation and AI-enabled solutions, supporting responsible use, governance, quality controls, and operational effectiveness.
- Provide expert guidance for complex problem resolution, project recovery efforts, root cause analysis, and strategic technology decision-making.
- Mentor and influence analysts and technical teams by promoting best practices, technical standards, quality methodologies, and continuous learning.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and innovation opportunities to advance Boulder Community Health's digital, operational, and strategic objectives.
- Support organizational compliance, information security, privacy, business continuity, and regulatory requirements while maintaining alignment with BCH policies and standards.
