Job Description
The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain Windows-based applications that power high-speed industrial printing systems. This role focuses on C/C++ software development, embedded hardware integration, image processing, and machine control systems. The ideal candidate has experience building high-performance applications, integrating software with physical hardware, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to develop reliable industrial automation solutions. Must-Have Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. 5+ years of professional software development experience. Strong C/C++ programming experience in an embedded environment. Experience developing Windows applications using Visual Studio, MFC, and Win32 APIs. Experience integrating software with embedded hardware, firmware, or industrial equipment. Experience with image processing, graphics rendering, or visual rendering algorithms. Knowledge of TCP/UDP networking and hardware communication protocols. Experience developing high-performance, real-time, or machine control applications. Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize complex software systems. Experience participating in code reviews, technical documentation, and cross-functional engineering collaboration. Preferred Requirements Experience with embedded firmware development. Python programming experience. Knowledge of BMP or other Windows image file formats. Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and software release management. Familiarity with barcode symbology and encoding standards. Experience in industrial manufacturing, factory automation, robotics, machine vision, industrial printing, or related equipment environments. #
