full-time A well-established healthcare and senior living organization is seeking a Workday Applications Engineer to join its enterprise applications team. This is a highly visible position supporting critical Workday initiatives across Procurement, Security, HR, Finance, and Payroll while helping drive the future direction of the organization's Workday environment. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of key systems, lead enhancements, support integrations, and work directly with business stakeholders to improve processes across multiple departments. What You'll Do Administer and enhance Workday Procurement, Purchasing, and Security functionality Configure and maintain Workday security groups, role assignments, and access controls Support Workday integrations, including payroll, benefits, vendor, and financial system connections Partner with HR, Finance, Purchasing, and IT teams to optimize business processes Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics Monitor Workday releases, perform testing, and recommend new functionality Troubleshoot application issues and drive continuous platform improvements Create technical documentation, user training materials, and process guides Participate in enterprise projects and take ownership of system enhancements from planning through execution What We're Looking For 4+ years of hands-on Workday experience Strong experience with Workday Security, including security groups, domain security, and access management Experience supporting Workday Procurement, Purchasing, Finance, or HR functions Workday integration experience, including troubleshooting and administration Demonstrated track record of owning systems, projects, or major platform enhancements Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with business stakeholders Workday certification is a plus but not required Highly Preferred Experience Workday Procurement Workday Security Administration Workday Financials Workday Integrations Reporting and Analytics Business Process Configuration Healthcare, nonprofit, or regulated industry experience Why This Opportunity?
