The Opportunity:
Join CACI as part of the MWIII Bridge program, supporting mission-critical Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) capabilities across the Intelligence Community. Based in Hanover, MD, our team designs, builds, and sustains enterprise-grade solutions that strengthen security and enable seamless access across the IC. As a Senior Software Engineer on the
GATEKEEPER
team, you'll work within a collaborative environment and contribute to a product that has direct impact on national security.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will support the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for the
GATEKEEPER
product, partnering closely with developers, systems engineers, QA specialists, and DevOps teams.
Your work will include:
- Designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining enterprise software solutions
- Enhancing capabilities using Java/Spring Boot, Python, relational and NoSQL databases, and modern CI/CD pipelines
- Supporting DoD product installations, deployments, troubleshooting, and sustainment
- Participating in technical reviews, resolving complex issues, and ensuring high-quality, maintainable code
- Creating and updating technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, workflows, deployment procedures, and training materials
- Collaborating across teams to deliver robust, scalable, and secure capabilities
Qualifications:
Required:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related discipline
- 12+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years of experience in SIGINT, IA, or IT domains
- (Optional substitution) 4 additional years of software engineering experience may replace the degree requirement, totaling 16 years Desired
- Strong experience with Java (Spring Boot) and Python
- Proficiency in RDBMS (Postgres) and NoSQL (MongoDB)
- Database optimization experience desired
- Experience collaborating closely with test teams and stakeholders to refine requirements
- Hands-on experience with Docker (packaging, development, orchestration)
- Familiarity with AI concepts, LLM-based tools, or building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue -

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
