Software Developer

Job Description Insight Global is looking for a software developer with robotics expertise to help productionize and scale a grasp-planning software package for real-world robotic manipulation applications. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong software engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience in robotics, automation, and deployment-ready system development.

Additional Details:

Productionize and maintain a grasp-planning software package for use in real robotic systems Design, implement, test, and optimize software for robotic manipulation and automation Integrate grasp-planning capabilities with ROS/ROS2-based robotics workflows Improve software reliability, usability, maintainability, and deployment readiness Collaborate with cross-functional partners across robotics, software, and automation Support validation in simulation and real-world environments, including production-oriented use cases

Compensation:

$30/hr to $35/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
