Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Travel Elevate patient care and play a vital role in diagnostic services as an experienced Radiology Technologist! This contract position is ideal for a skilled imaging professional who is passionate about delivering precise and compassionate care in a clinical setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current certification as a Radiology Technologist (ARRT or equivalent required) Registered or licensed to practice in the state as required by law Strong proficiency in performing diagnostic radiologic procedures, including X-rays and other imaging modalities Solid knowledge of radiation safety standards and infection control protocols Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Effective communication skills and a patient-centered attitude Previous experience in an acute care or hospital setting preferred
Responsibilities:
Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout Adhere to protocols and physician instructions for specific exams Maintain accurate, thorough records and ensure timely documentation in patient charts Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and the broader clinical team Monitor and maintain equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly Uphold all professional, ethical, and facility standards for radiologic technology
