Job Summary:

This position reports to the Applications Engineering Manager and is responsible for providing technical support to our customers once they have purchased our electronic burn-in test system, in order to assist the customer in getting the system operational in their production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide applications support to our customers, offering advice on alternative design techniques and the implementation of alternative solutions. Review specifications, schedules and drawings and other information in order to determine the best application of MCC's products. Develop custom test programs to check out customer-specific test printed circuit boards. Translate and verify test vectors. Develop technical proposals for customer applications needs. Identify and facilitate process improvements to increase responsiveness to the customer's business needs. Work closely with MCC PCB Design and Layout Engineers.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience. Two years relevant experience with electrical / electronic products, writing code for software or firmware along with troubleshooting experience on hardware. Printed circuit board testing and troubleshooting experience. Inquisitive problem-solver with strong technical aptitude. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively. Experience with multi-meters and oscilloscopes. Understanding of digital logic. Ability to read electronic schematics. Strong organizational skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office tools. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to travel up to 25% both domestically and internationally.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Python; general programming knowledge and ability. Familiarity with Cadence software.
