Job Description This position will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of best in class software experiences. The candidate is a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with a team and across the organization. The candidate takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to U.S. Bank standards in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. The candidate will be adept with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.
Essential Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain applications using C#, .NET Core/.NET 5+ , and modern development frameworks. Build and enhance RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems. Develop user interfaces using React or Angular and contribute to responsive web applications. Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following established development standards and best practices. Support cloud-based solutions hosted in Microsoft Azure , including application deployment and monitoring activities. Participate in code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance improvement efforts. Contribute to the development of microservices and containerized applications running in Kubernetes environments. Collaborate with senior engineers, product owners, and team members to deliver high-quality software solutions. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience - Zero to two years of relevant experience Preferred Skills/Experience Experience developing applications using C#, .NET Core/.NET 5+ , and object-oriented programming principles. Basic understanding of Azure services , including Azure App Services, Azure SQL, or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Experience creating and consuming REST APIs . Knowledge of React or Angular , TypeScript , HTML, CSS, and modern web development practices. Familiarity with Entity Framework Core or Dapper for data access and database interaction. Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server , including writing queries, stored procedures, and basic performance tuning. Exposure to Docker , Kubernetes , CI/CD pipelines , Git-based source control, and DevOps practices. Understanding of software testing concepts and tools such as xUnit , Postman , and automated UI testing frameworks. Exposure to Azure DevOps , GitLab , JFrog Artifactory , or similar development tools. Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerized application development. Familiarity with authentication and authorization concepts such as OIDC and modern identity providers. Experience working in an Agile development environment. Location expectations This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week. $81,515.00 - $95,900.00 U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
