Job Description
Job Description An employer is seeking a Senior Java Developer to support a large financial services client in Plano, TX. This individual will join the CashPro Payments team and play a key role in the development, enhancement, debugging, support, maintenance, and testing of enterprise applications that support critical business functions. The team is currently focused on migrating legacy applications to the CashPro Payments platform as part of a broader initiative to modernize the client's payments ecosystem and enable ISO 20022-compliant payment processing across banking systems. The Senior Java Developer will participate in the design, development, implementation, and support of complex applications utilizing modern technologies and development frameworks. These solutions may span a variety of platforms, software, hardware, and tools. The individual will collaborate closely with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions that support the organization's strategic objectives. Additionally, this person will provide technical leadership, contribute to system architecture decisions, and drive the successful delivery of key initiatives. They may lead project efforts, mentor junior developers, and oversee team activities related to specialized projects and ongoing operations. - 8+ years of hands-on experience in reviewing requirements and project documentation to understand the application and perform automation feasibility analysis.
- Solid computer programming experience (Java, SQL, Spring, Springboot, Webservices (REST and SOAP) & HTML).
- Ability to assist with offshore / onshore task coordination.
- Experience in Dev Ops, continuous delivery, and continuous integration.
- Transaction knowledge, JAXB, JMS, Jdbc, WebLogic, JBOSS, MQ, and good handle on core java (streams / files / collections)
- Bank of America experience
- ISO payments experience
