Occasional Domestic/International Travel PreferredPosition OverviewWe are seeking a Quality Control Technician to support our manufacturing operations and ensure products consistently meet established quality standards and specifications.

The Quality Control Technician will perform technical inspections, measurements, and quality assessments of materials, components, and finished products. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret technical drawings and welding symbols, and proficiency with precision measurement tools.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.

Primary ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.

Inspect materials, components, and finished products to verify compliance with specifications.

Perform dimensional inspections using micrometers, calipers, verniers, and other calibrated measurement tools.

Identify, document, and remove products that do not meet established specifications.

Make acceptance or rejection decisions based on inspection results.

Analyze inspection data and prepare reports summarizing findings and deviations from standards.

Recommend modifications to existing quality standards, methods, and procedures.

Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.

Scan and upload quality-related documents as required.

Perform additional quality control duties as assigned.

Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.2-3 years of relevant quality control or manufacturing experience.

Working knowledge of calibrated inspection tools and testing equipment.

Ability to read measurements using 1/8", 1/16", 1/32", and 1/64" scales.

Proficiency with both standard and metric measurement systems.

Hands-on experience using micrometers, verniers, and calipers.

Strong computer and record-keeping skills.

Excellent attention to detail.

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred QualificationsWillingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally on occasion.

Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial quality environment.

Physical & Work Environment RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and use hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment.

Ability to ascend and descend stairs and/or ladders.

Ability to communicate effectively and respond to instructions in a manufacturing environment.

Comfortable working in moderate manufacturing noise; occasional exposure to noise levels up to 100 dB with company-provided hearing protection.

Ability to perform close-vision tasks and adjust focus when inspecting components.

May occasionally be exposed to dust, irritants, heat, and electrical/mechanical equipment hazards.

Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment and other personnel.
