In this role, you will oversee and elevate our entire digital tech stack, specifically managing our e-commerce platform and our website for specifiers. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and systems Collaborate with end-users, and other engineers to define software requirements and deliver high-quality solutions Improve user experience and operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards Troubleshoot and debug software issues, ensuring performance and reliability Lead architectural and technical decisions to ensure scalability, security, and maintainability Document development processes, code changes, and system configurations Collaborate with end users to ensure the quality of the product and participate in test-driven development (TDD) Assist with deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of production systems Continuously learn and apply new technologies, programming languages, and development tools to improve the software engineering process Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in software engineering Perform additional duties, projects, or responsibilities as assigned by management to support overall business objectives Skills, knowledge and expertise Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 7-12 years experience as a Software Engineer or similar role Full Stack Developer with a strong proficiency in one or more server-side programming languages (Java, Python, PHP, C++) and a strong proficiency in client-side programming languages (HTML, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript) Experience with software development frameworks, libraries, and tools (React, Angular, Spring, NodeJS, NestJS) Experience implementing e-Commerce solutions including (SnipCart or Shopify, Stripe, TaxJar) Experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or MS Dynamics), including hands-on experience customizing and querying NetSuite using SuiteScript and SuiteSQL/SuiteQL Proficiency in NetSuite development, specifically building custom workflows with SuiteScript and writing advanced database queries using SuiteSQL Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Understanding of software development principles and lifecycle Experience with database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) Experience working with Version Control (Git) Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment The ability to prioritize activities and deliver projects on time and within budget Preferred Qualifications CSSLP Security Certification or other security certification Knowledge of IPaas Integration Platforms (Celigo, MuleSoft or Apache NiFi Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce) Knowledge of Content Management Systems (Sanity, Drupal, Joomla, Sencha) Knowledge of software testing frameworks and methodologies Knowledge of Google Suite Tools including Firebase and Analytics.
