Job Description

Job Description We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong Azure, GitHub, PowerShell, and Node.js skills, along with working knowledge of Microsoft 365, who can build CI/CD pipelines, automate cloud and administrative tasks, integrate Microsoft services, and support secure and reliable application environments. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving operational challenges through automation while working within large-scale Microsoft 365 environments. this position will be 3-4X weekly onsite in NYC.
Responsibilities include:
  •  Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including deployment, configuration, monitoring, and management of cloud resources.
  •  Strong knowledge of Git and GitHub for source-code management, branching strategies, pull requests, and collaboration.
  •  Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
  •  Good scripting and automation skills using JavaScript, Node.js, and PowerShell.
  •  Ability to develop Node.js and PowerShell scripts for deployment, automation, administration, API integration, and operational tasks.
  •  Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automated environment provisioning.
  •  Experience with Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, and Microsoft Entra ID.
  •  Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (O365) services and administration.
  •  Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
  •  Knowledge of Microsoft Graph API and PowerShell-based Microsoft 365 administration is preferred.
  •  Experience managing application configurations, environment variables, secrets, identities, permissions, and access controls.
  •  Ability to troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, networking, Azure, and Microsoft 365 related issues.
  •  Familiarity with monitoring, logging, alerting, and cloud security best practices.
  •  Work closely with development and IT teams to improve deployment reliability, automation, and DevOps processes.

  •  5-7+ years of experience in DevOps, Automation Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Development, M365 Administration, or a related IT field.
  •  Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including deployment, configuration, monitoring, and management of cloud resources.
  •  Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
  •  Strong scripting and automation experience with PowerShell, Node.js, and JavaScript.
  •  Experience with Git/GitHub for source control, branching strategies, pull requests, and code collaboration.
  •  Hands-on experience automating infrastructure, deployments, and operational processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
  •  Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
  •  Experience managing application configurations, identities, permissions, secrets, and access controls in cloud environments.
  •  Ability to troubleshoot Azure, networking, deployment, infrastructure, and Microsoft 365-related issues.
  •  Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to support day-to-day operational requests while identifying automation opportunities.
  •  Experience with Microsoft Graph API integrations and automation.
  •  Experience with Azure services such as:
  •  Azure Functions
  •  Azure App Services
  •  Azure Storage
  •  Azure Monitor
  •  Azure Key Vault
  •  Microsoft Entra ID
  •  Experience implementing monitoring, logging, alerting, and cloud observability solutions.
  •  Knowledge of cloud security best practices, RBAC, identity management, and governance.
  •  Experience supporting large-scale enterprise Microsoft 365 environments.
  •  Background in automating administrative workflows and reducing manual operational tasks.
