Position Summary CoreVault Solutions is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer or Senior DevSecOps Engineer to design, automate, secure, and sustain the infrastructure and software-delivery pipelines used to build and deploy mission-critical applications. This role sits at the intersection of software development, systems engineering, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operations. The ideal candidate can automate repeatable deployments, improve developer workflows, maintain secure infrastructure, troubleshoot complex environments, and help move software reliably from development into operational use. Candidates may be considered at the DevSecOps Engineer or Senior DevSecOps Engineer level based on experience, technical capability, and qualifications. Responsibilities Design, build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines supporting mission software. Automate application builds, testing, packaging, releases, and deployments. Build and maintain containerized application environments using Docker/OCI, Kubernetes, Helm, and related technologies. Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code and configuration-management solutions. Support Linux-based development, test, staging, and production environments. Support cloud, on-premises, disconnected, edge, and hybrid deployment architectures. Automate environment configuration and repeatable system deployments. Manage application configuration, secrets, certificates, artifacts, repositories, and release processes. Implement security controls and automated security checks throughout the software-delivery lifecycle. Support STIG implementation, vulnerability remediation, patching, dependency management, and secure configuration. Work with cybersecurity personnel to incorporate RMF and authorization requirements into engineering and deployment processes. Develop monitoring, logging, health-checking, backup, recovery, and troubleshooting capabilities. Diagnose problems across applications, containers, operating systems, networks, cloud services, and deployment infrastructure. Work closely with software engineers to improve build reliability and developer productivity. Work with systems engineers to transition software into test, demonstration, and operational environments. Develop and maintain deployment, configuration, architecture, and sustainment documentation. Support demonstrations, exercises, customer installations, and operational deployments as required. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, computer engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Professional experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, cloud engineering, platform engineering, systems engineering, software engineering, or a related discipline. Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills. Hands-on experience with containers and container orchestration. Experience developing or maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Experience with scripting and automation using Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar tools. Working knowledge of networking, certificates, authentication, system services, and distributed applications. Experience troubleshooting complex deployment and infrastructure problems. Understanding of secure software-delivery and infrastructure-management practices. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain the U.S. Government security clearance required for the position. Preferred Qualifications Current U.S. Department of War Secret or higher security clearance. Experience with Kubernetes and Helm in production or mission environments. Experience with Docker, Podman, OCI images, container registries, and artifact repositories. Experience with Azure, AWS, GovCloud, or hybrid cloud environments. Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies. Experience with Git-based CI/CD platforms and automated build/test/deployment workflows. Experience with Rocky Linux, RHEL, or similar enterprise Linux distributions. Experience supporting disconnected, edge, tactical, or restricted-network environments. Experience with STIGs, ACAS, RMF, vulnerability remediation, software supply-chain security, or government cybersecurity requirements. Experience supporting Department of War software or mission systems. $105,000.00 - $142,000.00 per year
