Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components for off-highway machinery. This position requires a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, experience with off-highway equipment, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development:

Develop electrical schematics, control systems, and wiring diagrams for off-highway machinery, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

System Integration:

Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to integrate electrical systems with mechanical components and control software.

Testing and Validation:

Conduct testing and validation of electrical systems to ensure reliability, performance, and compliance with specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues as they arise.

Documentation:

Create and maintain detailed documentation for electrical designs, modifications, and testing procedures. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accurately reflects the current systems.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure electrical designs and systems comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements

Project Management:

Manage electrical engineering projects from concept through to completion, including planning, resource allocation, and schedule management.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for improving electrical system performance, reliability, and efficiency. Implement design improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Education:

o Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.

Experience:

o Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on off-highway equipment or similar industries.

Technical Skills:

o Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN), experience with PLC programming, and familiarity with CAN communication and protocols.

Problem-Solving:

o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.

Communication:

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Team Player:

o Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with engineers from various disciplines and departments.
