- Develops and applies advanced mechanical engineering design methods and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex technical problems.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP
- This position reports to the Director, Engineering Technology. The person in this role will interface with all internal departments, especially Engineering, Procurement, Quality and Sales. Also interfaces with various outside contacts including customers, suppliers and possibly independent contractors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- + Guides the development of new and modified legacy engine applications including development into a final product. + Serves as a resource to others with respect to engine applications and installation, and is considered an expert in the product application/installation disciplines + Identifies and orchestrates implementation of new technologies supporting engine and vehicle product improvement

QUALIFICATIONS
- + Minimum Bachelors Degree in an Engineering Discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, etc).
Additional Competencies Required:
- Teamwork approach; ability to resolve conflicts; strong organizational, interpersonal and communications skills; ability and willingness to travel and knowledge of GD&T and Six Sigma methodologies preferred.
