Job Description
DevOps EngineerOur Client is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support cloud infrastructure and Linux based systems within a federal environment. This role will focus on deploying and configuring cloud services, managing Linux servers, supporting dynamic web applications, and troubleshooting cluster based computing environments. Candidates must have an active Top Secret clearance, a bachelor's degree, and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Job Roles and ResponsibilitiesDeploy and configure services using Infrastructure as a Service cloud platforms.
Support cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Engine, or OpenStack.
Configure, administer, and maintain Linux based servers.
Support infrastructure used to host dynamic web applications.
Troubleshoot and debug cluster based computing environments.
Monitor cloud and server environments and resolve infrastructure related issues.
Support the deployment, configuration, and ongoing operation of cloud based services.
Work within a secure federal technology environment.
Qualifications and CertificationsBachelor's degree in a relevant field.5 or more years of relevant DevOps, cloud infrastructure, systems administration, or related experience.
Active Top Secret security clearance required.
Hands on experience with Infrastructure as a Service environments.
Experience with at least one major cloud platform such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Engine, or OpenStack.
Strong Linux server administration experience.
Experience supporting web application infrastructure.
Experience troubleshooting distributed or cluster based computing environments.
